This webpage is an alphabetical list of all the individuals buried in the Brookston IOOF Cemetery, Brookston, White, Indiana, compiled by Jo Ann Guntrip & Dana Palmer from 2001 until 2005, included in our book. The Brookston I.O.O.F. Cemetery is located in the town of Brookston (Prairie Township), White County, Indiana, #25 N Sec 21, Range 4.  It is located west of Brookston, on the south side of Indiana Highway 18.  It is a Public cemetery.

This book has been compiled to be a complete record of the people buried in the Brookston I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Brookston, White County, Indiana, as of this publishing date. There maybe a few people buried in this cemetery that are not listed in this book for the following reasons: first, they were buried prior to the record keeping date, and secondly we have not been able to find any record of their burial (tombstone, death record or obituary). Some living people may be listed in this book because they have stones in the cemetery with either their spouse or their parents.

Every effort has been made to make sure the information listed is accurate.  Please contact us if you find any errors or have additional information.  We would love to share info and get as many corrections made to our book before publishing as possible. We have the following information on most people in the book:  full name, birth date & location, parents names; spouse (s) (if married), marriage date & place; death date & place, cause of death (if we could find it); burial date and location buried within the cemetery.  We have photographed 99% of the tombstones in the cemetery, and have identified them.  These will be available for purchase with our book. We are still working to find the best publisher and at this time we don’t have a price for the book or CD/DVD. With the index and intro pages there are about 750 pages. We are hoping to have it published by the spring of 2006.
